SAFE Home Study Assessor
Job Responsibilities: Responsible for completing foster, kinship and/or adoptive home studies for the purpose of determining the suitability of prospective or current foster, respite, or adoptive families. The home study practitioner is responsible for recommending approval or re-approval for prospective or current foster, respite, or adoptive families.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral or social sciences, social work, guidance counseling, psychology, childhood education, special education, or related field (Required), Child Welfare experience 2 years (Preferred), Driver's License and Insurance (Required), NTDC Trained (Preferred) and SAFE Certified (Preferred).
Rate: $500.00 per completed home study. Will require a personal vehicle, cell phone, copy machine and computer
SAFE Supervisor
Job Responsibilities: Provide supervision and oversight of Home Assessors duties as mentioned above.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in behavioral or social sciences, social work, guidance counseling, psychology, childhood education, special education, or related field (Required), Child Welfare experience 2 years (Required), Driver's License and Insurance (Required), NTDC Trained (Preferred) and SAFE Supervisor Certified (Required).
Rate: $100.00 per completed home study review. Will require a cell phone and computer.
Trainer
Job Responsibilities: Responsible for delivering training programs, including Georgia's caregiver pre-service training (NTDC) for prospective foster, adoptive, and kinship families. Additionally, you will provide parenting classes for at-risk families and ongoing training for approved foster, adoptive, and kinship families.
Qualifications: Certification in NTDC to teach Georgia's caregiver pre-service training (required). Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, education, psychology) and 5 years of experience training for training other than caregiver pre-service training.
Rate: $700.00 per class. Will require a personal vehicle, cell phone and computer.
Behavioral Aide/Parent Aide
Job Responsibilities: Perform community-based prevention and early intervention services and activities for caregivers and/or children. Promote the overall well-being of families through behavioral modification/management, budgeting skills, communication skills, environmental safety, and parenting education/skill building. Work closely with families, providing support, resources, and guidance to help them establish and maintain a safe, stable, and supportive environment.
Qualifications: High School Diploma with 10 years of Human Services experience or Master's degree in human services with 1 year of experience in human services or bachelor's degree in human services with 3 years of experience in human services
Rate: $15.00-25.00 per hour and 0.60 cent per mile. Will require a personal vehicle, cell phone and computer.
Behavioral Aide/Hoteling
Job Responsibilities: Responsible for covering 12 hour shifts that may require overnight stays with children in a hotel promoting the overall well-being of children through behavioral modification/managements, communication skills, environmental safety and skill building. Work closely with children, providing support, resources, and guidance to help them establish and maintain a safe, stable, and supportive environment.
Qualifications: High School Diploma with 10 years of Human Services experience or Master's degree in human services with 1 year of experience in human services or bachelor's degree in human services with 3 years of experience in human services
Rate: $15.00-25.00 per hour and 0.60 cent per mile. Will require a personal vehicle, cell phone and computer.
Drug Screening Specialist
Job Responsibilities: Will be responsible for collecting and processing samples for drug screening (such as urine, hair, or oral fluid) from individuals following established procedures and protocols, while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and infection control.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent
Rate: $18.00-30.00 per sample collected and 0.60 cent per mile. Will require a personal vehicle, cell phone and computer.
Therapist/Counsel
Job Responsibilities: Plan and implement effective service interventions that support the development, healing, and growth of children and families. Provide ongoing support, guidance, and counseling to children and families throughout their involvement with AFM. Assist in developing case plans, making placement decisions, expediting permanency, and planning for effective service intervention.
Qualifications: Licensed or provisionally licensed clinician in a relevant field, such as psychology, social work, counseling, or a related discipline. Alternatively, a master's degree with supervision towards licensure is acceptable.
Rate: $30.00-44.00 per hour and 0.60 cent per mile. Will require a personal vehicle, cell phone and computer.
